she hadn't been so scared in so long,
it actually scared her.
i haven't had the same nightmare in so long,
ever since i'd moved out of that house.
but it came back to me last night
and i found myself waking up at 5am
with tears i couldn't hold and shivers i couldn't control.
i couldn't do anything about it.
i couldn't fight back.
and instead of its' usual setting,
it was in this house now.
that's what scared me even more.
like..
no matter how far you run,
you can't hide.
